Just click the above link and it will take you to a direct page for downloading this mix. This is at a wonderful site called Section Z. They have tons of artists and allow us all to upload our original music and mixes. Once you click on download just give it a few seconds and the mix will start to play. There you'll find information regarding the mix on the link page including each track I used. I hope you likey! I know there are a few issues but give it a listen and tell me what you think!

The night before I made this mix I finally catalogued my CDs that I'm using. I write the artist and title of each track as well as the length and beats per minute of each track. Talk about mind numbing. Luckily I'm only working with about 70 or so tracks. Seriously though it was well worth it as I was able to find tracks in certain bpms without having to blindly skip through tracks hoping I could find a match.

I've made some mental notes as to how I can improve on this mix but I'd rather not write them down as I want you, the listener to have an unbiased ear. You'll need a bit more than an hour for listening but I encourage you to listen to it straight through as that's how it's intended to be heard. So enjoy the music, I certainly did while mixing it.

I can't download the mix. I keep getting this error message:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e'

Invalid use of Null: 'cInt'

/download_script.asp, line 207

LAME!

Okay, I'm emailing you the mix. Maybe try using a different browser. I'm using Firefox and haven't had a problem. If anyone else is experiencing this let me know.

I downloaded Pando, but I'm still getting the same error message. LAME!

At what point is this happening? Is it when you actually try to download or is it when it tries to play the track?

It was happening when I clicked on [download]. The pop-up box showed that error. BUt something changed, so I am now listening to it. Let me know where your transitions are and what songs you are using at different times. I do hear some awkward loops from time to time. That has to be hard to control.

The song that picks up after the stop sounds like it was clipped from the guitars in a Snow Patrol song. [I am "live commenting as I listen. Awesome!].

The mix sounded pretty good. But my ears are untrained. Is there a way for you to create and incorporate your own beats and sounds? That may be the next step.

I'll try to work on the times for you. Probably not this morning but maybe when I wake up. Glad you liked it. Often when there is a major glitch it is because I am experimenting with either adding something to the existing track, be it a seperate beat during a breakdown (a time during the track when there is no beat) or near the end. I killed vocals too early in a track near the end, I was bummed about that. There is a spot where I precursor the next track's beat during a breakdown of a current track that actually came out quite nicely, in my opinion anyway.
